Book Club: The Roar

The Roar is an intriguing science fiction book, about what happened to the human race when they destroyed the earth. It started out with the richer people telling the less rich people that there was this awful disease that they would catch if they didn't move inside this giant concrete wall, which surrounded a good bit of the northern hemisphere. They eat  food made entirely in a factory, and are so overpopulated that they are forbidden from having children. Outside of the wall though, the higher ups have replanted vegetation and are getting along fairly well. But inside the wall, death is a common thing, and if you manage to scrape by, well, life isn't that great. So the moral of the story is don't destroy the Earth
